Karmoie is an eyewear brand and a Buy One Give One Company. For every pair of Karmoie Sunglasses sold, a pair of corrective glasses is given to a person in need. We aim to create beautiful, uncompromising eyewear while also contributing in a committed and conscientious way towards a better future.
In large parts of the developing world optometrists are scarce, keeping the glasses people need out of reach. Lack of refractive correction not only impairs daily life, it can spiral into severe consequences for the individual, family and society.
Karmoie has chosen to partner with the fantastic team at Eyejusters to donate corrective glasses. Eyejusters are adjustable glasses based on SlideLens technology. Eyejusters are adjusted to suit a user’s eyes with the simple turn of a dial, so almost anyone can dispense them, without an optometrist present.
All our frames and parts are entirely made in Italy. Hand shaped and hand polished. We have chosen to use a new eco-friendly acetate as far as possible. The lenses are from Optics by Carl Zeiss and have antireflective coating for comfort and improved scratch resistance. We hope you will enjoy wearing them as much as we have enjoyed creating them.
